Changes to Registered Office

All companies need to have a registered office.

It may suit some people to use their home as the Company’s registered office (for convenience and low cost) - but it may suit other people to use a professional office, such as their accountant's or solicitor's office, to ensure the Company's paperwork is dealt with quickly and professionally.

If you are using a professional office, the name of that firm needs to be advised to the ASIC as part of the application for registration. The cost of using a professional office may vary from free to $200.00 pa, depending on the supplier.

A street address has to be given. PO Box numbers will not be accepted by the ASIC.
